Fighting for women’s rights

Fighting for women’s rights

Have you ever wondered how many problems women nowadays have? Regardless of any hot topics of discussions, you’re probably aware that no matter what is being said in the media, in fact there are plenty of women all over the world who really need support.

That’s how feminism was born and that’s why so many females all over the world strive for better life. What is interesting is the number of various organisations which try to solve the problem.

Three waves

Few people know that the feminism we’re experiencing know is considered the third “uprising”. In fact, there were two before and, as most researchers agree, the first and the second wave of feminism had a huge impact on the world as we know it. How?

The very first approach to fight for women’s rights was the community of Suffragettes between 1840 and 1920. These women fought for voting opportunities and, as we know, they made it!

The second wave regards to various communities and events that took place in the 60s and 70s, when women decided to be clear about their sexuality and willingness to be free in the world of men.

What we’re experiencing today is considered post-feminism and it’s taken into account together with for instance gender studies and such topics.

Feminism has a substantial impact on the world as we know it. In fact, plenty of women turn out to be so enthusiastic about it that they decide to take loans in order to support others.

Why is it so loud?

This question cannot be easily answered. First of all, most of women who fight for their rights simply have to be loud in order to be heard. It’s difficult, but as we can see in a lot of cases it’s achievable and they make their point.

The question remains, what the future will bring. Unfortunately, there’s no answer for this question, but you don’t have to wait – it’s a good idea to take part in the whole process and make sure you’re doing your best towards better opportunities, no matter what you really desire.
